Multiple DWI/DUI Convictions

A charge of DWI or DUI is serious in Missouri. Because of Missouri’s implied consent law, there are severe consequences that could result in the suspension of your driver’s license.
Criminally, however, the consequences of a DWI escalate with subsequent DWI convictions/charges. Specifically, a second DWI offense is a Class A Misdemeanor; and a third offense (a so called persistent offender offense) will start to get into the territories of felonies.
Please reference my Criminal Defense page to see the sanctions that the State can levy for the differing misdemeanors and felonies.
As a result of the gravity of these claims, and the serious consequences it can have on your license and employment, it is extremely important to hire an attorney immediately. There are strict deadlines that must be met, particularly as it pertains to your driver’s license.
